Watched Laapataa Ladies yesterday .Loved and lived every moment of the movie. Right from the stellar performances to the background score , not a single frame /note was out of place. I loved the contrast between Phool's innocence and Jaya's smartness .As an anguished husband, Deepak was near perfect . The ensemble cast was part of the proceedings and not an after thought. Cannot imagine anyone apart from Ravi Kishan as Shyam Manohar. His performance could have been loud and caricaturish ,but was wonderfully restrained. This is an India that still exists in its villages and slowly changing for better. Kudos to Kiran Rao for Laapata Ladies . I laughed , cried and cheered for Jaya, Phool and Deepak. Movies are all about experiencing emotions and this one tugged every single one .And not to forget the locales , it was pure nostalgia.
