Gugulethu Ngwenya

I really enjoyed this series. I found the story line gripping, and the characters were strong. There was a clear direction and a purpose , and clarity in terms of what motivates the main character . Can't wait for the next season.

I love this show , I get it . It is entertainment - the story line is based on a wealthy evangelical family that gets exposed for sinful ways . There are a few exaggerated elements of the story - but that is the point of entertainment to be taken into a world of make believe. I loved the look and feel as well , the glamour and gloss of it all . I found it refreshing to see Kim Cattral in a role that fits her age group, to see her in a maternal role was something I have not seen her in before . I am really bummed that season 1 is all we get .

I like the fact that it reflects real situations happening in cosmopolitan women's lives.

Generations is a good soapie. If you're looking for gripping TV - this is not it . It is okay , mediocre and just enough . Not too bad that you can't watch it , but you won't miss out on much by changing the channel. The super villain Tshidi needs a more driven purpose, the other supporting roles don't do enough to really sell their motives for being there . Anyways, watch if you like
