The pilot was boring and seemed like lazy writing. The Izabella character is completely unlikable. She’s whiny and always seems to try to make everything about her seeming belief that her issues are bigger than everyone else’s. The whole thing felt poorly conceptualized. I was really disappointed as Reba was a solid sitcom. Happy’s Place fell flat.
