This was a painfully slow and drawn-out movie . There was really no compelling plot - kept waiting for the climactic scene which could explain Casey Affleck’s character’s constant angst . Turns out his dream didn’t come true . Nothing new there and while the acting was solid , the movie was far too reflective , slow , and confusing with its flashbacks and lengthy scenes with no dialogue and nothing happening . Could have been told in chronological order but at the end of the day , the story just isn’t that compelling .
