Tin and Tina” is a movie that defies logic at every turn. The plot is riddled with nonsensical decisions, starting with the parents adopting the children for no clear reason. When Tin and Tina ask why they were adopted, the mother’s hollow reply is, “because we wanted to.” Things take a darker turn when the children kill the family dog, and instead of facing consequences, the parents practically ignore the act. At this point, they should have returned the kids to the church. The absurdity peaks when the father, after being struck by lightning, walks into the house engulfed in flames, ultimately burning it down. It’s as if every moment of the movie is designed to push the boundaries of disbelief, making it hard to take seriously.
