The other reviews explain why this series is so addictive. I haven’t found a show since Dead to Me that I got so hooked on I could have watched a whole season in one day. It has everything: dark humor, emotional connections, madcap chase scenes, one surprise twist after another, and lead characters who know exactly how to push each other’s buttons while making you feel their suppressed pain. The acting somehow manages to capture their obsession without sacrificing all the subtle dynamics of their relationships with family and clients.
