I paused Poor Things on four occasions because it was a bit too much to take in one sitting. However, if you can get past the gory first part and the sexualized second part of the movie (which went on far too long), you'll get to the protagonist's 'aha' moment and discovery of who she was and is. It seems to me that this movie was made to show Ms. Stone's acting ability from being toddler-like to mature adult, including, to show all her lady-bits for the sake of art. Mr. Ruffalo was exceptional and his lines were the funniest of this movie.
