I love 60 minutes and have been watching it since 1964. I very much enjoyed your news story tonight 5/8/22 on the shortage of mental health counseling for children and adolescents. Only one thing was left out...why aren't there enough therapists? Or psychiatrists? A mental health therapist needs a Masters Degree here in Wisconsin and the profession is the lowest paid/reimbursed of any career requiring a Masters Degree. Same with psychiatrists. It is the lowest paid of any specialty in medicine. The need for mental health therapists is on the rise and hopefully people will understand the need to pay for the therapy.
