I've read much better books on filmmaking. This is 80 percent fluff with too much negative advice for indie filmmakers. Maybe 10 percent is good stuff but that's about it. If you are about to make a film, dont read this. It will kill your optimism and creativity by telling you what you shouldn't do. Also contains a lot of outdated ideas (it was published in 2009).
