As a stand alone, completely unrelated to the story film, it isn't too bad. But as an accurate representation of the book, it is an abomination. So much pointless filler, drivel made purely for the sake of making it. Plus the casting of Martin Freeman as Bilbo was terrible, a good enough actor, but completely wrong for the part. And why were half the dwarves just like small men, all the dwarves in the book were short fat squat characters like they were in LOTR, some of the ones in this looked like they'd just walked off the set of Eastenders.
