It was interesting at first but when the characters started to make decisions devoid of common sense, I lost interest. There was a scene where the guy who killed the main characters’s father forcibly enter the house and threaten to shoot their mother. Having a key that could order any person to do harm to themselves is enough to be safe but Kinsey choose to approach an armed perpetrator with nothing but her younger brother swearing childish stuff. They can claim that in a spur of panic they wouldn’t have thought about it but earlier, Bode remembered to use the ghost key(i’m not sure if it’s that key)which became utterly useless. Such lame writing. I hope the writer could come up with plots and scenarios that’s not plain stupid. There’s a lot of those in this series. I hope it will improve as the story progress but really, this series is one of those that had a promise but lost momentum as they tried to intertwine stories after stories.
