I really enjoyed this movie. Being a self proclaimed horror movie buff, I'm a pretty tough critic, however, I would recommend this little gem. Good acting, some very creepy moments, and good story line. Get the popcorn ready, and be entertained.

I am a self described horror movie buff, not so much now that I'm 75 yo, but by history. I've pretty much seen them all. This movie got very mixed reviews, I'm one of the one's who enjoyed it, the film kept me engaged, was quite scary, and the acting was good. Some of the plot kept one guessing, and waiting for answers that never materialized, however, I found it different, and very entertaining. I recommend this for popcorn movie night!

Good movie. This is an opinion from a long time horror movie buff. I also love revenge type movies, and this one delivers! These are some of the most convincing, horrible, cruel back woods characters I have ever enjoyed hating. I really enjoyed this movie, however, I only give 5 stars for what I consider Oscar worthy films.

This is an excellent movie. I love psychological thrillers, and this one delivers. It's been a while since I've been mesmerized by a movie, the acting is top notch, and the twist towards the end is fascinating, and unexpected. Recommend.

Fabulous! One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I consider myself a connosieur of disturbing, horror, psychological thrillers, and this one ranks high for me. It's one of those movies that I wish I hadn't seen, so I could watch it again, without knowing the movie. The weird thing is, I'd never even heard of it until I stumbled across it while scrolling through my free movies on cable!!

Bad movie, poor acting, not worth the watch, trust me. This is coming from a great fan, of the great horror films, I've viewed over many decades.

Great movie. I saw it years ago at the theater. My friend and I had actually gone to see a different movie, but it was no longer playing, we were disappointed, but we went to Hide and Seek instead, not expecting much. Boy were we wrong! We both loved the movie! Kept us guessing, creepy, great acting, what more can I say? I am a die hard horror, and psychological thriller buff, and this film filled the bill! I recommend this movie.

Excellent movie. Very good actors.Touched me regarding what homosexuals had to deal with in the fifties. Highly recommended.

Great movie. Captured me beginning to end. Some great performances.

I had hesitated to watch this film due to some of the reviews, especially rotten tomatoes. I most often agree with rotten tomatoes, however, this time they got it WRONG! This is an excellent film. Wonderful acting and riveting story line. It kept me engrossed and delighted through out! Somewhat grisly at times, but, I like that touch. A must see for murder mystery buffs.
