I'm not usually a fan of Beyonce. And as I stated on Facebook, I don't know what I was expecting. But, I have seen visual albums before, and as a musician myself, this was probably the best visual album I've seen. The music alone is brilliant. The visual representations were also brilliant. But the combination is beyond. I felt the journey. Every piece moved me, and sparked a thought in my brain. I want to learn more about this piece. I want to learn more and delve into the cultural aspects that were shown. This film makes me want to step way outside of my bubble and explore a world that I never thought I'd want to. Brava!
