Brilliant. I love 40s films, powerful plots, good music, good camera angles, clear speech & brilliant acting. Better than today's films, where people mumble or whisper, & everything goes to fast; and a view of an American city us all there is to show where the plot is happening. Not everyone is familiar with views of American cities.

Brilliant, one of the best Hammer films. Good plot, very good Victorian clothes & sets. But very much of it's time (1966). It's partly about a rich man who went to one of the East Indies islands with his daughter. The man has a very old-fashioned colonial attitude. The is another man in the film who has no name. I can't say any more, or I will spoil it for those who haven't seen it. But it's a very interesting film & well worth seeing!
