This movie, wow... IT IS TERRIBLE! So, a thirteen year old future serial killer drug his family; dad, mom, and sister, and throw them in a bunker in the ground, starve them, and then live the life of Riley with his buddy. Over the days/weeks, he plays video games, drive the family car, withdraw money from the bank, give his buddy some cash just for the hell of it, play a drowning game, lie to his mom's best friend about her whereabouts, brush off the gardener, make a dinner from a recipe online, bring wine and the dinner to his captive family, join them in the dinner he's so proud of having prepared, drink his own bottle of wine as he sits at the top of the opening of the bunker looking down on his starving family as they devour the meal like animals and eat with their fingers, take a late night ride, get a pang of drunk regret, change his mind after weeks of torment, haul a ladder down into the bunker, the family climb out, find him in the pool playing the "drowning" game again, lips ruby red, save him, and they all get cleaned up and sit down for dinner as if NOTHING ever happened! No dialog. And that's the end of their story. Really? I mean, seriously? REALLY? And, for whatever reason, the itty bitty side story added a 12 year old girl named Lily and her mother, who casually decided to abandon Lily and leave her enough money to pay the rent for a year. The ending? Lily is walking all alone in the woods. The end. I just have to SMH. It's been a while since I've wasted my time watching a movie THIS BAD!
