If I would've read the "Critics" reviews I probably would've passed on seeing this film....and that would've been a real shame. It was so much better than I expected from "yet another Vietnam War movie," and yes that is the setting, but the theme is much more complex. Sad, but inspiring...and some very fine acting all along the way.
