DELETED, I got this game on XBOX game pass cuz I got the free month, it's not worth 50 dollars, it's just SE5 DLC tbh, I got a bug in the 5th mission after completing all objectives, I got stuck in an invisible wall and the game saved which effectively bricked the whole mission. 1 hour of progress gone because the game wanted to bug me out. I have noticed so many bugs and I think charging 50 dollars for this unfinished mess is a scam. not to mention the forced DEI black woman who voices all the intermissions, she made me skip all the story intermissions. waste of time thank god I didn't spend money on this trash. just pirate it if you want it. but rn the bugs make it unplayable. A AAA game should not be releasing with game breaking bugs.

This is just not really that good of a game, first of all the story sucks, when I play Gundam I want a gruff war story that can be dark and depressing, realistic main characters which this game doesn't have. You literally play as all women, pretty anime girls, I don't understand why every new Gundam game with a story always has to have either the school setting like Gundam breaker it's all high school Gundam build fighters related stories. Code fairy takes place in universal century 0079 however the characters feel out of place and it just feels unrealistic. The gameplay sucks it's literally just Gundam battle operation 2 I hate how Gundam battle operation plays it's basically a cc fest where you take turns with the opponent getting knocked on your ass and then you get up and then you knock them on their ass because you have a free attack because of invinciblity frames. Each mission basically plays out the same, not to mention the story just sucks once again, I think I would like this game if the story was good and if it followed characters we knew from the anime, Gundam games have a good way of making shitty stories when we have so much source material that hasn't had a standalone game since the PS2 era. I've tried many times over the years to play this game but it's just so mindnumbingly boring. I get that it's supposed to be more realistic in terms of piloting giant mobile suits but it just ends up feeling like a clunky mess, the AI on your team is broken they don't listen, they always accidentally shoot you which puts you in a cc chain, you can get hit by the enemy bazooka which will stagger you, and then your teammate will hit you too which will stagger you again. Then you get melee'd and either staggered again or they knock you down and then you have to sit there on the floor for 5 seconds before you finally get up. This game is just not fun, the story isn't good, it's a shame because I want Gundam games that follow the original story with fun gameplay. This just ain't it chief, I don't get what it is with Gundam and making all of the main characters sexy anime high School lolis

I wish Gundam Battle operation was fun man. I just hate the way the game play it is, I do enjoy and respect how the mobile suits feel like they have weight to them and they feel realistic however the gameplay just sucks dick, you can't really play any suit you want because if you don't play meta you lose it's kind of like League of Legends where if you want to win you got to play broken champs and you also get salty teammates a lot. I have been playing ever since Gundam battle operation 1 on PS3 and I was able to tolerate it more as a kid but nowadays I don't have the mental energy to deal with the bullshit of how this game plays you basically get cc'd to death or you cc someone to death before you get crowd controlled. Everyone plays with bazookas, if you get stunned you get killed, if you get stunned and then someone stuns you again you get double stunned and then you can get stunned again after that basically you can get perma-stunned. In League of Legends terms this game feels like Morgana Q any time you play, you get stun locked you fall over it takes you 5 seconds to get up you get stun locked again and you die, the time in these matches are so short which sucks because depending on your mobile suit it could take you 20 seconds to spawn back in when the match is only 5 minutes long so you're only realistically playing like 2 minutes and you spend most of that time dying. I wish this game was fun, every time I play this game I just get pissed off not to mention the unfair banning system like say for example if you lose connection you get penalized because of the shitty servers, or if someone leaves your team everyone gets booted back to the lobby and guess who gets penalized.. yep you. Fuck you for trying to have fun says bandai. The best part about the game is the amount of mobile suits that are in the game, it makes me happy but it also makes me depressed because this game fucking sucks there is no git gud factor, you win via game knowledge, you play the most broken mobile suit in the cost bracket and then you rape people with CC until you win and get tokens that will just give you recycle tickets anyway. Also selling the original songs from the anime for 20 bucks a pop is kind of fucked up too they should have gave us that shit for free when the game released I'd probably still play the game if I could hear the original universal century music scores. I want to love this game, at one point I did love Gundam battle operation but I always knew deep down in my heart that this game was asscheeks. I just wish the matches were longer, I wish the maps were bigger, I wish the gameplay was different so you could feel like you could do something, I wish overall damage was buffed for everyone because I swear to God the rock paper scissors effect makes it so if you are a general type trying to fight a support type it will take 20 beam rifle shots to kill a gpo2 if you are Gundam MK2. It just sucks that they put so much effort in a game that fucking sucks dick, and the one fun Gundam game, Gundam evolution, they neglected that and then killed it off. Fuck you bandai.

I really want to like this game but I just hate the saving system so much I hate games that make me lose all my fucking progress for no reason, I was doing the mission where I had to capture the three birds in the bird cages and I also had a mission to collect 70 hare meat for Alex. There are bandits over there so I killed them and then I slept in their bed and in the morning I killed the hare I needed and I collected all the birds, and then I tried to fast travel home but then I got caught by some guys in armor and they immediately killed me and I lost all of that progress because I couldn't save since I didn't have the stupid fucking drink, and there is barely any auto saving so I literally lost all of that progress which took me out of the immersion immediately so I deleted the game I'm not fucking playing this shit anymore. I hate games that do this shit I want to have a fun time in a fun engrossing story but when all of my progress gets wiped because of something I can't control and then it's not fucking fun anymore fuck this game

Story is ok, but I just dislike how they have no anime/manga characters, the game feels very lazy at times, in the latter half of missions you can choose who you want to come with you to battle and in cut scenes you never see them you only see yourself looking at them but you don't see their player model they didn't even code it into the game. The game play is funny albeit a bit floaty, it's very repetitive though. All the missions play out same way for the most part. Mainly you have three waves of enemies and then a boss at the end of Wave 3 sometimes. It's usually that mission structure for 90% of the game and it does get boring after a good 50 or so hours. The customization is the best it's ever been, there are a lot of kits to choose from, some even from strictly manga Gundam series like Advance of Zeta. Honestly I just feel like this game lacks soul, this game makes me feel very lonely even with people online, it feels like none of the people play online and they don't even exist, when I play in the story mode everything feels very lifeless, it's a weird lonely dead internet theory feeling The net code is very bad and you find yourself online fighting one enemy and the enemy loses HP even if you are not hitting them, because your teammates are hitting the same enemy gunpla however they are not even near you, they are across the map hitting nothing. Overall the game is all right, it just doesn't feel perfect therefore I cannot give it a perfect score, it's 100% better than new Gundam breaker which I would give a zero out of five, I don't think this game is worth $60 I would say 40 would be a good price. I just wish the story was better that would change a lot, if they had a dragon Ball xenoverse style story I think it would be a lot better because you would actually play and fight alongside Pilots from the anime.
