Kinda meh. Not played since Emerald - Graphics/art style and such are all subjective so I will avoid it in the review but to me meh could be better. The major issues I have is that it’s not true open world, can’t customise your player and the end game Tera is a buggy mess that relies on either exploiting Pokémon abilities or rando players. Open world issue - it’s not truly open, you can’t travel to what ever area you want your blocked by either wild Pokémon a lot higher leveled then you or the story forcing you to play a certain why with your basic anime type characters. Would prefer to be able to travel to what ever location knowing that level isn’t an issue. Player character - you’re a school kid. That’s it. You can change your shoes and hats but your stuck in that ugly uniform, if you could change your whole outfit then least you could pretend you was something else besides a school kid. It’s 2022 - the players are adults let us be adults/dress like it End game - EV and all that never been my thing, but I’m his Tera thing is bad, if the connection one was better and you had some kinda search function then that would help, or at least let players have some kinda communication with each other then it wouldn’t be such a random slog. Having said all this, was alright to play. Not full price, recommend £20-£30 any more then you will be disappointed unless you’re a die hard fan. - woulda thought the game would have come further then this.
