I guess it was an ok movie as long as the watcher had absolutely no idea what the book by the same name was about. Other than the title and the main character’s name there are no similarities between the book and the movie. Tom Clancy’s name appears to have been used solely for marketing purposes. I have literally never seen another book made into a movie with less content from the book.
