Considering how this is a PG-13 film it did really well for a Horror Movie. The Characters are quite strong and memorable amongst the main characters and the plot held itself up with barely noticable holes in the story. The CGI monsters werent that bad except for the final monster. The scares were quite suspenseful and not overtop so the simple and subtleness of the scares stuck with me since we dont see them too often in other horror movies.
Keep in mind when watching this movie its meant for kids in general.
