Stellar Blade was a game I definitely didn’t expect to play, but one that I absolutely have not been able to put down since I played its Demo back in March 2023. The combat, soundtrack, and visuals are top-tier, and you can truly feel the care put into this game by the developers. That said, the story, dialogue, and some platforming elements are not phenomenal, but these are overlooked in favor of just how fun this game is to play. Critically, I would give the game a 7-8 out of 10, but I still highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great action game.

Phenomenal game! I am a huge fan of Zelda and having finished this one, it did not disappoint! Gameplay was like a cross between traditional 2D and TOTK-style freedom, and the method of balancing creating “echoes” with direct combat led to a really satisfying experience. The story is very good and genuinely interesting, and it’s of course great to play as the Princess herself! I really recommend this game!
