LIKE A MAGIC EYE PUZZLE I think Tenet, while engaging, pretty to look at, filled with some interesting special effects, and well-cast, in the end was over indulgent in homage to the auteurs --and not as interested in delivering on narrative, theme, nor poignancy. It was like staring at a magic eye puzzle and being in wonder at how they could pull off such extravagant wizardry... Only to find that the actual picture was of something quite mundane.
