Ok here's my honest review. (Spoilers ahead!) I have been a kung fu panda fan since 2008. I remember watching it with my school friends and it has been such a great experience. Now for the 4th installment, the stakes were quite low. Actually this wasn't even supposed to be Po's adventure but the Furious Five's. The story is same old antagonist wants to take over the world and Po is here to do some skadoosh but wait this time he doesn't! We get a cunning fox to doing it (Voiced by Awkwafina). When you think about Kung Fu Panda you always think about the wisdoms shared by the masters of the great art but here they kinda make a mockery out of it. Was not a huge fan of that. Oh did i say the stakes were low.. they were very low it felt like watching a TV show rather than a full length movie. The villain is "The Chameleon" and yes it does get underwhelming. She tries to take the powers of all the other kung fu warriors so she can become stronger...sound familiar? FURIOUS FIVE ARE NOT THERE :( I could feel their absence through the screen. If you want some fun with amazing animation and art work then yes go for it. If you're looking for some good story like the first 3 installments then you're gonna be disappointed. This movie clearly showed how a villain can make or break a film and this unfortunately falls in the latter. Overall a fun movie if you keep no expectations.
