If you need an eye opener, here it is. If not, still watch. I cannot watch this and not think about how many other KIDS have lost their youth, their lives, like this. Please, when you watch it do not think “it’s a part of history”. This is now, as well, no matter how hard it is to believe that people can treat or look at another human that way especially kids and especially by the people supposed to protect our communities. Never have I felt so drained after watching tv. No matter when this came out it would have been the right time. The pain you feel for the 5 boys is important because it starts conversations among friends, colleagues, peers, family- anyone, that we need to be having. You can’t watch this and not want to talk about it and that is amazing, captivating.
