The movie was great. Dennis Quaid did a fantastic job playing Reagan. He had the voice, the intonation, the timing, the hand gestures - everything was spot on.
The storytelling was great and the confluence of people and events was played out elegantly. Russians asking how did he beat us reflected his single overriding purpose - to defeat Communism. Sadly we are back at the same battle - now from within,
Penelope Ann Miller did a superb job as Nancy Regan, and Jon Voight did an awesome job as the retired Soviet profiler assigned to Reagan.
Worth seeing and taking your kids - no bad words, no suggestive scenes - just an excellent history lesson.
