The Dorothy character was MEANT for a tender-aged young with beautiful long hair style (like Judy Garland) and not an adult woman with a short kinky fro, like Diana Ross.. who should’ve had her HEAD EXAMINED (along with the production staff), for even going along with this charade in the first place!!😮 I mean who likes an adult Dorothy?! The costumes were better in the original Wizard of Oz. However I loved ❤️ Michael Jackson!! (He pretty much stole the show!) —They tried OMMOTHERGOD! Although the characters were good, (the lion awesome!) they just couldn’t fit the bill of child-like fantasy and enchantment, however it is a good movie. Just not GREAT! In addition I did not take too kindly of these drama songs of Diana herself and Lena Horn, as they sounded too darn sad! The songs in the Wizard of Oz we’re far more uplifting, vs. the daunting songs in the Wiz! In overall this movie doesn’t give one that “child-at-heart” feeling as the little girl in me, but it is an interesting movie, in a stage-like, characterizing sense. Sorry Wiz-biz, but The Wizard of Oz is my heart ❤️ just like many across the board to this day!

The Wizard of Oz is a heart-melting and breathtakingly movie of all time!!!❤️❤️❤️ I LOVE ❤️ The Wizard of Oz!!! The characters were awesome! (My favorite is the witch!). Halloween season brings the spirit of The Wizard of Oz in the air!🥰 Although I’m a young woman this movie places me in fantasy land of enchantment and harmonizes my soul!🥰 Btw— these IDIOTS that gave this movie a poor rating (though only a few) shouldn’t rate the movie in accordance to the actors’ personal demises I mean REALLY! They outa be steering their attention to the movie itself! But the movie doesn’t have to resonate with everyone and doesn’t. But to fail the movie based on personal crises behind the scenes is outrageous!! Anyway people have their own opinions though some in this case a little over the top.
