A complete waste of time. This basic, unsatisfying, tone deaf, miss of a “movie” was a sad attempt at something that could have been MAYBE been good. For many reasons, both surface level and dynamic, this movie was a flop. The character development was forgotten, the plot and resolutions were barely saturated, and pretty much ever story line was left untied. At times, you may have gotten the feeling that this movie was attempting to touch on relevant gender inequalities or topics.... but don’t get me started. Any angle (and I’ve thought through many possibilities) were completely missed and some honestly offensive. I cannot pinpoint an exact reason why this movie bothered me so much, maybe it’s because I wasted two hours of my life that I will never get back..
