I had low expectations walking into the theatre after seeing the audience rating of 2.5 stars, but this movie gripped me right away and kept me along the ride till the end. A fantastic addition to franchise, and it does not feel disconnected at all from the world of 28 days later. I have no idea why this movie is getting anything below 4 or 5. The sound design alone makes this movie a must-see. The story is gripping, the shots are beautifully odd and haunting, the characters feel real, and the ending is so unnecessary, but only proves why this franchise is the one of the titans of the zombie genre. Watch this movie.
