I could NOT put this down and at work, I couldn't stay still, thinking when I could go home and read this book. The blend of history, geography, the past, the present, love, intrigue had me on the edge of my seat for 700+ pages straight. There was never a dull moment, not a single red herring. This plot is a masterpiece, just on the author's part, who carefully weaved this tale, connecting one thing with another so seamlessly. When the title of the book made sense, my jaw was on the floor. I know I will be returning a second time and I will be gasping in delight when the foreshadowing reveals itself to me. Every history nerd, every Dracula fans needs to read this!
