This movie was TRASH. Straight BASURA! I read some of the other comments about all the stupid things but I would like to add some more things to the list. 1. Charged with murder without a body? Who called and reported then? 2. Why does the court look like that? Has Tyler Perry ever step foot in a court? 3. Who’s cop boyfriend attends trial to support their wife .... in full uniform? 4. What trial starts 3 weeks after the alleged murder? 5. Uhhhh even my toddlers know once both sides rest, that’s it. 6. Horrible acting. 7. Horrible set. 8. How did the reporters know all of that information WHILE the elderly were being escorted out of the house? 9. What was the point of the testimony on the blood spatter ... because it went nowhere. 10. How did the cop husband not realize that the lady who fell to her death was the friends house? 11. Ok so the bank didn’t prosecute? 12. Whoooooo the hell were those witnesses that the prosecution brought? 13. Grace screamed she wanted to call her lawyer, when she knew her lawyer was locked up. 14. As a lawyer, I can tell you, the whole court scene was so wrong. I’ve never heard anyone scream OBJECTION! 15. Public defenders in cubicles? 16. Public defenders are actually regular attorneys who take court appointed cases ... they don’t work for some government office where the “boss” assigns it to associates. The Judge assigns the case. 17. I have never seen someone stay in a diner until 2 am drinking wine but I guess anything is possible in Tyler perry studios. 18. No one and I mean no one prepares for trial in 2 days, nor do they call a witness that wasn’t produced on the exhibit list in the pre trial conference. 19. Grace bought the house 4 years ago and paid the mortgage off 4 years ago? So the house was bought in cash then? 20. What was the point of the story about grace’s son’s wife? 21. How did grace never meet the son of that was her friend for 6 years? 22. The jail looked like the corner of the monopoly board. I could go on and on and on. This movie was horrible.
