This is the worst book I’ve ever read. I’ve read several of Jodi’s books and Leaving Time is one of my all time favorite books but this book on Egyptology drags on and on. If you are not a scholar yourself or an academic I would not recommend this book. It goes way too deep and it’s impossible to follow. I actually skipped over so much just to try and get to the story. The book could be half the length and been much better in my opinion. If you can get through to the story, the storyline itself is definitely food for thought but not worth the agony of reading all the extra.
