If you watch this without having seen the original cartoon you might like it but if you were a fan of the original you will hate this. They completely gutted any character development. Lots of key moments in the cartoon were just spoon fed to the characters in the series. First 10 minutes in I already hated Aangs monologue about how he feels and how he doesn't want to be the Avatar. This story is just filled with bad writing. A lot of telling and not much showing. Big reveals that took many episodes to come to light are just spoon fed to the audience with a single monologue. It seems to be a running theme with this series. Aside from that the characters are off. Iroh not so old and humble/funny. Sokka just annoying not funny. Katara is just a placeholder and Aang has no personality even when they get him to monologue about how sad or hard his life is. They even put fake tears in his eyes and it still feels like there is no emotion in whatever he is saying.

This is a rip off of the first punisher movie but they did it really bad. Not sure where all the five stars are coming from. Even if you don't count that this movie has no dialogue which is why most people gave it 1 star it is still a 1 star movie because it is a rip off of punisher.
