This movie felt empty, moved way too fast and missed out so many important details. Everything felt rushed in the movie. Not only that, the casting was incorrect too! Was truly disappointed with the writing of the script and the final product because the book was so so beautifully written. Definitely not worth a watch and I most certainly will not watch it again.

Humorous, heartwarming, and sentimental with a dash of craziness. Best show ever made, hands down. One of my absolute all-time favourite series I have ever watched. This show got me through the last half of 2020 and no matter how many times I rewatch it, it’s always like it’s the first time again.

Absolutely loved the animation, the aesthetics and overall style of the movie but story wise, not the best. Personally felt as if there were some parts missing where a lot more could’ve been added to the story as a whole. This resulted in the movie seeming quite dull and not as interesting as the other studio ghibli movies. Some of the characters were quite unlikeable which made it harder for me to continue watching.
