First off : Effects are a massive improvement vs supergirl. This show also stands out from the rest of the arroverse with its smooth cinematography. but above all else it harkens back to smallville with its heart and warmth and doesn't take itself too seriously. At first it took a whie getting used to Tyler Hoechlin as the new red and blue boyscout since his introduction in supergirl, but he finally flourishes in the role on his own show and acts as a brilliant counterweight for its more serious DCU counterpart. Oh yeah obe more thing : This guy is super relatable... get it?

Acting was great. Believable scenarios. That's why I give it 2 stars. Plot interesting at first but eventualy feels pointless at the end. No real motive, just reminds you to thuroughly check out the space you rent before you move in, oh and Spoiler ALERT don't be a predictable cheater also just keep in mind people "understandably" lose their minds in certain confrontations.
