I don't even want to attempt to watch this film. It's horrible and disrespectful. I could only imagine if my grandmother was Nina Simone who has beautiful resemblances and I allowed her to be portrayed in this way, not only would mu grandmother feel ashamed and disrespected, but so would my entire family.

This is a great book. It speaks a lot about how black culture and African culture are very similar. As black American girl I loved i5 and I would read it again and recommend it to a friend, Trevor Noah's mother is beautiful and she is a very wonderful woman.
