There are so many things wrong in these novels. The books are for young adults yet it pokes fun at social issues, objectifies things like sex, and its politically incorrect when referring to things like guns, POC, and LGBTQ oh AND in the beginning novels they create a fake terrorist group called 'natures jihad' linking terrorism to a cultural word, nice job Casts. The series tries too hard to be young, including way too many parentheses of a shallow character and her inner thoughts. Did anyone even edit this book?! Its laden with typos, i.e collaborate instead of corroborate, noisy instead of nosey.

Overuse of the phrase "I gulped".
