I had a long flight ahead of me yesterday and I recalled hearing about “Young Royals” through tiktok. I instantly noticed the the realistic portrayals of actual teenagers as well as the prominent lgbtq storyline. The casting was done so unbelievably well. The chemistry between characters were unmatched. I finished this show throughout my flight and I experienced so many emotions. Sadness, happiness, goofiness, concern, empathy, etc. The cinematography and soundtrack just added to the masterpiece. This show deserves all of the hype it has received, as well as a second season. “Young Royals” is the perfect example of how shows and movies should be because of its diversity, authenticity, realism (acne, sex, language, parties, etc), and so much more. I absolutely loved this show and hope it continues. Amazing work to everyone who was a part of this show, bringing it all together to create an absolutely wonderful experience for viewers.
