I give it 5 stars for both Butler and Hanks performance. Butler gave an outstanding performance letting the audience see for perhaps the first time on screen the man rather then the usual caricature of Elvis. Hank played the perfect charming and manipulative manager Tom Parker. The director filled the film with the high energy of Moulin Rouge, the tradegy of Romeo and Juilett and the extravagance of the Great Gatsby. As a life long Elvis fan I couldn't of asked for anything more. I smiled when Elvis smiled and cried when Elvis cried, an all round emotional experience.
