Lots of haters here, so beware and always take things with a grain of salt.
I personally loved this movie. It was refreshing to see someone on screen that I, as a woman who has struggled with finding myself, could relate to. The character was witty, feisty, and humorous, with appropriate levels of anger and seriousness when needed. She straight up said "I don't have to prove anything to you" and I legitimately cheered. Too many people try to "prove themselves" to people that just don't matter so hearing that was fantastic.
Besides that, I will say that the feature was slow to start, and therefore, a bit hard to follow, but picked up shortly after starting and captured the audience.
I recommend taking the time to see this movie, especially if you're raising daughters.
Can't wait for A4!
