Both my wife and I loved this film. Absrbing throughout. Louis Hayward excellent as the spoilt wayward son but credit must also go to the long suffering and good inatured father played ably by the underrated Brian Ahearn. Ahearn in true English fashion does not overplay his part, though his facial expressions say much about how he feels. Good plot and romance.

Hayley Mills at her very best even when only 15 years of age. Playing two twin sisters simultaneously. Never laughed so much especially when she ran rings round her father's fiancé. Great family fun.
