Interesting but flawed take on a Christian ministry which focuses on praying for government leaders around the world. The simple premise of the documentary is that this “government” ministry focus is bad. The anti-Christian storytelling approach could literally be “insert your special group here” and any Christian group gathered around it would be viewed as unethical. In reality, this documentary illustrates how secularism is fighting to replace the principles and ideology that our founding fathers built the United States on. Like it or not, the US was founded as a Christian nation. The makers of this documentary ultimately fail to create any impropriety around this ministry as hard as they try. If you aren’t a Christian or familiar with it’s core beliefs, the ominous music and tone of the storytelling would vilify anyone including Mother Teresa or Billy Graham. Christians are called to “go into the world and preach the good news (of Jesus Christ).” If you object to this, then you’ll agree with the filmmakers. Otherwise, the core mission of the series is on vilifying anyone who gathers in the name of Christ.
