This was supported and made in association with the people who made Dead Set! It’s also expressed in the opening that this is an adaption of Dead Set. To say it’s a ripoff makes no sense, when it has approval and support from the original makers......... Take time and research the production, it’s not a ripoff. If you are a zombie fan, like I am (played every resident evil etc) you’ll like it. Definitely have to watch a few episodes in before it starts to feel more tense. There is a culture difference, the acting seems campy and amusing, but I imagine in Brazilian culture, the acting is very serious and dramatic. I watched it with subtitles, it’s fairly well written. If you’ve seen Dead Set, it’s basically that, but there are alterations and expansions. Dead Set was 5 episodes this is 10 episodes. Please remember! Zombie series are rare, you have to give them a chance, Season 2 if it gets one, which I hope. Will have a lot of refinements.
