Well some people here are very confused as to why people are hating and giving bad reviews to this show. First of all, I believe the writers have good intension to bring this Buddhist mythology to foreigners but they did poorly on the characters and lost the feel and experience of the original. For reference what the original essence suppose to feel like, you guys can try watching The Monkey King 2, that's the new adaptation with still the classic feeling of how it should be done. Sorry for raining on your parade but seeing one of the classic film that was with me since my childhood of a very very young age goes up in flames, can you blame us for not being picky?
