Started out interesting. But (spoilers) - typical cliches and no surprises- pregnant girlfriend he’s not in love with, girl in hiding was abused by cop husband, perfect Jack - handsome, vet, sensitive, quotes Shakespeare- last straw was Kierkegaard conversation over dinner. Cliffhanger and 2 minutes into next season Mel is the nurse for Jack’s girlfriend. I’m done.

This kept my attention throughout all the episodes. The ending was sad but I guess there were hints of this. Spoilers. In the last few episodes Wendy is increasingly tormented, unfocused and reckless. She is grasping at every straw to keep her children. Her father is played as the most evil man on the planet, which the kids can’t see through. This conflict, to me, was more compelling than all the other life or death scenarios. Ruth’s character also goes through a lot of transformations. It was comical to see her “yes, maam” interview with the judge but satisfying to see her later be herself with that same person. I was believing that Navarro would go free (as he thought was happening) and then happy to see his demise. I loved the PI/cop character and was floored at the ending. But this family could not have a happy ending after their crimes. I will miss this show. Now I only have the rest of “Better Call Saul” to look forward to.

Too preachy - more and more. Just cook.

Loved her writing and experience as a maid. She deserved happiness. Andy McDowell (spelling?) was constantly entertaining but I’m glad how it turned out. The main character should get an award. One tiny problem- getting a “school loan” instead of community college.

Lots of beautiful clothes and people. Good storytelling.

One tragedy after another. Nothing uplifting. Very disappointing. And no ending.

Beautiful story and compelling.

To be honest - first hour was bleak and slow. The second hour made up for that with plot, beautiful scenes and love for the characters.
