Wow. I just watched this film for the first time. Bravo! Bravo! For pushing the limits! That was incredible. I haven't seen anything that profound in a LONG, LONG, LONG time. So much to process. So glad I saw it. This film is not for the average viewer. The folks who gave this film less than 5 stars, need to stick to the mainstream stuff - this is not your cup of tea. This is in the realm of Lars Von Trier. Or David Cronenberg. Maybe more like David Lynch. More intensely surreal than the Double Life of Veronique. I'll be thinking and talking about this movie for years! Now I'm inspired to review all of Darren Aronofsky's films. I've seen Requiem for a Dream and Black Swan - but now I want to explore more of his films. Bravo! I can't wait to read what the film critiques who appreciate this style of film have to say.
