I give it 4 stars for the sake of the plot in general, but to be honest I was very annoyed by the characters and their obvious never-ending thrust over Power. At a moment I was so done with the book that I didn't want to keep reading but oh well here I am already finished. Would I recommend it, Yes maybe if you are into Faeries, war and bloodshed and I little bit of romance.

I certainly heard a lot about this book and decided to read and see if it was worth the hype, and Oh lord it was. I mean, witches, Handsome Hell princes, spells, magic, and demons just my cup of tea how can hate it. The plot was intriguing and more fascinating by how much info/details it provided, loved the Italian touch that was added ( made me hungry to try some of the Italian recipes), impressed by how strong the characters were including the dead ones as well. I can't wait for the second book in October to see what will become of our Emilia in the kingdom of the Wicked. If you are still considering whether you should read this book, just go for it cause it is definitely worth it.

I loved the book, I felt so into the plot, both main characters were strong and hard-headed which adds a little bit of spice and sarcasm. Friendship and loyalty make the plot more interesting and solid. Just the ending was a little bit meh but still there are two more books. So personally I recommend it.
