I cannot recommend this book enough. I have completely quit smoking after a on and off battle with smoking for over 20 years of my life. I had this book for a while and made every excuse not to read it. Most people who have it will say the same thing. Then they make excuses when they start reading it that it's too repetitious or boring or written for it second grader or whatever other reason that they want to come up with. The trick to it working is to read it. Let the repetition flow over you. Read the stories read every page. Take your time smoke while you do it not a big deal he even tells you to smoke while you do it. It's not about tricking you or hypnotizing you or anything else. It's a method to rewire your thinking and give you good information. I have quit and can easily hang out around people who smoke and I don't crave it I don't want it it doesn't even come up. I didn't start eating a lot. I didn't need a two gum or do anything else. I literally read the book quit smoking. It's been almost 3 years. I'm a chef, I work in the restaurant industry and everyone I know smokes or does nicotine in some way. Do yourself a favor and just do it.
