This movie was not at all what it should have been. Completely different story, too dramatic and the animations in the original are so much better than this one. Would not recommend at all. You're much better off watching the original movie. No question the reviews are so bad. The ship was also horribly animated. There aren't any iconic things in this movie. Sometimes I wonder, "If Titanic was so popular, why did the sequel have to be so miserable?" Complete waste of time. DO NOT WATCH EVER IN YOUR LIFE and I'm not even exaggerating.
