Transformers One was a beautiful piece of cinema that perfectly punctuated the emotions and connections we’ve all grown to have for these beloved characters. It brought us all kinds of new ways of looking at old characters that we’ve grown up with and grown fond of, but also offering opportunity to meet some new ones while learning about who they are and what role they play in what eventually is to unfold for the next several million years across Cybertron and earth. But most importantly, it didn’t try to be something it wasn’t. It was a beautiful origin story that stayed true to the roots of the franchise despite the new appearances and voices (who were all fantastic in my opinion!). All in all, I can confidently say this is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen and certainly the best transformers movie we’ve gotten since the original 86 movie. You definitely won’t be disappointed if you see this movie!
