Ok so look personally as a person who has had the sims 4 for a long time and had spent so much of my time making money to buy it, I am really mad with the fact they made it free.
I was never told this was going to be free, they also said that the new kit was going to be available for free to the people who bought the Sims 4 but at the time I was told it was free I had run out of time to get it.
The kit is literally 5 US dollars, I SPENT 45$ on the game itself. At that point I would just want my money back but now it’s free and also you can’t return things so.
If EA gave us more content like a pack or something that probably would be worth 45 dollars well then I would not be so mad with this new free thing.
Plus in the end I just ended up losing my 45$ because I couldn’t even get the kit in time.
I’m most likely never gonna play the Sims 4 again. I even own some of the expansions like Seasons, Pets, etc but yea no I’m not going to play.
Also if they do make a Sims 5 I won’t be buying. I will wait until it turns free so I won’t lose my money. It’s just really unfair for the people who have spent lots of money on the game but people who just heard of it can get it literally for free and play it whenever they want.
It’s just gonna end up having a bigger mess with more people playing. There will be higher demands as well. Bugs and other issues will be higher and even cc you might have to pay to get (like to pay the creator to download it). Like yea there might be lots of good builds in the gallery but others might just wanna be funny and put random builds and clutter up the gallery which would make it really hard to find good builds.
The main reason why I bought it was because I saw how YouTubers would have lots of fun with it, I was a kid so I didn’t really know there were packs yk. But I still enjoyed it
Just please show a little more appreciation to the people how have sticked around for years, not just a kit that cost 5 dollars
But in the end this all might just be for the Sims 5 coming out soon but we don’t really know to be honest.
